About us
Over the years, Myrra's acoustic consultants have participated in the design of numerous new buildings in Iceland as well as having extensive experience when it comes to renovating older buildings.
We have designed the acoustics in open plan offices incl. project-oriented workspaces, schools, hotels and apartment buildings etc.
We have extensive knowledge of acoustics and its effects on health and well-being, whether in the work environment or at home.
A number of projects that Myrra has been involved in have been environmentally certified either with the Nordic Swan ecolabel or BREEAM. We are therefore very familiar with requirements that are to be met when applied for environmental certification.
Gígja Gunnlaugsdóttir
Gígja graduated with an M.Sc in acoustic engineering from DTU in Denmark in 2007. Since then she has worked as an acoustic consultant and therefore has many years of experience in acoustic design of buildings.
